On 7th of June 2013, Tarnow City Hall was visited by the Chinese local authorities as well as the business delegation, together representing Zhejiang Province. The meeting with Deputy Mayor of Tarnow Henryk Slomka Narozanski was organized through ATB Tamel S.A and was held in the presence of Martin Neumann, CEO.
During the meeting, guests from China presented Zhejiang Province, particularly focusing on the economical situation and the level of infrastructure development in Shangyu area. The representative of Tarnow City Hall spoke about the investments financed by the city, drew attention to city’s openness to foreign investments and presented the cities Tarnow maintains partner relationships with. The participants of both sides of the meeting expressed the will to strengthen the relationship, considering the possibility to sign the cooperation agreement between Shangyu and Tarnow. It would be Tarnow’s first sister city from outside of Europe.
